Gary Moorhouse
One of the founders of UNIT 3, Gary is a very accomplished and trusted coach with a loyal following.
He loves helping people to improve their mobility and as a result our warm ups in UNIT 3 have become one of our strongest points. We make sure that people are able to train safely and lower their risk of injuries.
Gary, due to his background as a drama teacher has specific strengths with infusing fun into sessions.
Outside of work Gary competes in Obstacle Course Racing and loves helping others to prepare for events such as 'Tough Mudder' and 'Spartan Race'.
Orlaith White
Orlaith is a passionate coach, committed to providing fun, educational sessions for all.
Orlaith is a big believer in embracing health in all forms - training, nutrition, recovery & mindset in order to become the best and happiest version of yourself.
Orlaith's area of expertise lies in soccer specific training. Through successful coaching of professional & semi-professional soccer players & by playing in the Women's National League herself, Orlaith not only has the passion to progress her athletes on & off the pitch but also the real life experience of what these individuals need.
Niall Barrett
A successful and passionate boxing coach with over 15 years’ experience, Niall loves coaching and sharing his knowledge in order to help you to reach your goals.
Niall works with everyone from kids on their first day to professional boxers so if you would like to learn boxing or improve your skills get in touch with Niall.
Along with his boxing and running specific coaching Niall previously set up the Health and Wellbeing Service in Dublin Simon Community.
Niall gave recovering alcoholics and drug addicts an avenue to achieve sobriety and a pathway back into society, and so understands the mental challenges involved with change and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Jenny O'Neill
Jenny is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet!
Jenny works with clients of all ages who want to develop their boxing skills, build strength or improve their strength and fitness levels.
Jenny works with kids, teenagers and athletes and is very passionate about helping people reach their goals as well as supporting people’s physical and mental health.
Specific areas of coaching include; boxing, kickboxing and strength training.
Along with her role in UNIT 3 Jenny is also the only female professional boxing coach in the county and coaches professional athletes in boxing and kickboxing.
Conor Headd
Conor joined the UNIT 3 team shortly after opening and has been a valued coach ever since. He has a very easy-going personality along with a great sense of humour, which makes him a great coach for anyone who is new to exercising.
Conor has a lot of experience with athletics and completed several races ranging from 5 km to Marathons.
Having previously suffered a back injury himself, Conor works closely with clients to plan for races, to improve their running biomechanics and help with injury prevention/recovery strategies.
His Sport Science & Human Physiology background along with his love for helping others means he always goes the extra mile in helping people of any ability.
Ayla Rennicks
Ayla is a friendly and energetic coach driven by consistent improvement.
Ayla runs the Senior Strength Class and also offers Personal Training for older clients so if you or your parents would like any support get in contact with Ayla.
Apart from the gym Ayla is very passionate about the outdoors. She loves hiking, swimming and cliff diving!
Airijus Vitlipas - Intern
Airijus began boxing at 8 years old and has years of experience in a high performance setting. He now works with clients of all age groups in boxing, strength and general fitness.
With years of boxing experience winning multiple Leinster titles, international competitions and competing in World and European championships, Airijus is now keen and passionate to share his knowledge helping others to develop or improve their boxing skills.
Danielle Baker - Intern/Personal Trainer
Danielle is a fully qualified Coach who holds a Black Belt in Kickboxing. Danielle has competed all over the world, winning a bronze medal in the Kickboxing World Championships, along with many other titles.
Having obtained a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, Danielle's passion for coaching lies within the development of children as well as female physiology.
Danielle's aim is to help women and teenagers feel much more comfortable in a gym environment. She knows how daunting it may be for women and teenagers to walk into a gym for the first time so makes that transition as smooth and as comfortable as possible.
Everybody has a first day at some point so if you have some goals that you need help with to reach, contact Danielle to start living a healthier life.
Evan White - Intern
Evan has played high level football from a young age. Having played League of Ireland Football with Shamrock Rovers, Bray Wanderers and Athlone Town, Evan then went on to play professionally with Warrenpoint Town in the Northern Irish Premier Divison.
His experiences in high performance settings sparked a keen interest in the development of young athletes, especially footballers.
In recent months, Evan dealt with major achillies surgery which has resulted in intensive rehab. Having gone through this experience, Evan has a great understanding of the physical and mental effects a long term injury may have on clients and is currently working with athletes who are going through minor and major injuries.
Evan works with clients of all ages and runs a football specific session every Monday evening.
